Her Dream Became Reality

 

Taylor Made Academy was birthed from an idea of expanding one passion into something more. For over 19 1/2 years, JoAnna Taylor has cared for children in her home through Taylor Made Family Daycare. She began her childcare career in July of 2002 with this thought in mind, “To give parents a peace of mind by providing a safe place to leave their children while they work.” JoAnna is married to her best friend, Timothy Taylor, and they are blessed with five children and five grandchildren. As the years went by, she realized opening a center would allow her to expand her reach to more children and families. This would also allow her to enhance her advocacy for the community in which she lives.

Children need high-quality care, in a safe environment, to feel free to take risks within their own learning experiences. At Taylor Made Academy, you will find this and so much more. Our desire is to cultivate a team of educators that have the same goal: nurture the whole child as we teach them a developmentally appropriate curriculum. This framework helps them become confident, self-assured, and joyful children that can have empathy for others.
